Born and educated in the UK, Sally Balmforth’s career started at The Urdang Dance Academy in London where she graduated with honours in Performing and Teaching Dance. Her dance career saw her take pivotal roles in The Nutcracker and other major Ballet performances. During her dance career she made several appearances on the BBC Television network.
She then re-trained in Health and Fitness and her career then took her onto cruise liners where she headed up an experienced team of fitness professionals from different nationalities. Here she excelled in group fitness and one to one personal training.
Sally was then offered a post with The Club, a prestigious recreation facility in Abu Dhabi. There she honed her skills in nutrition and developed the very successful weight loss program ‘Lighter Weigh’.
Now based in Dubai, Sally has now been in the Health and Fitness profession for 20 years, 15 of which have been in the UAE. Her passion for fitness holds no bounds, she makes it her mission to seek out and develop new fitness ideas so that you as a client can benefit. She is a driving force in the UAE Health and Fitness Industry and has delivered Group Exercise programs for Dubai Fitness Challenge, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Gymnation, Vibe Fitness, Pharaohs' at Wafi.
